"Unfortunately, we can't agree with many of the other reviews. We only met 2 staff member and both were not very welcoming. The property, although being old, is very run down particularly very messy on the outside. "The property is conveniently placed just off the M4. Making it very easy to explore the surrounding area. Lots of beaches and shopping just a short drive away. The room was a generous size. The breakfast was good and plentiful. We were made to feel very welcome and our every request was handled efficiently and with kindness. Accommodation was good but the bedside lamps didn’t work and toilet roll holder needs replacing.The food was excellent and restaurant is very well presented but the inner door from the conservatory closed with a loud bang that we could hear clearly from our room."

"The B&B was located in a lovely and unusual setting at the end of a cul de sac. The views were great. Our hosts were very welcoming and informal. Of particular interest was on the ongoing 'construction' but nearing completion, of a waterfall and pond within the limits of the garden. "Boutique hotel in the Uplands area of Swansea. Good ambiance as you walk in the door to the hallway. The oriental suite was full of character and great attention to detail to maintain the theme in the room. Plenty of amenities to use whilst in the room. 2 min walk to the nearest bars and restaurants. A great find."

"Breakfast and evening meal was great, don't tend to eat in hotel restaurants but was really happy i did. Bed was really comfy and booked room specifically for the air con during the heatwave and it was freezing. I will definitely return when in Wales with work again."
