The property was quirky. Good hospitality. Good breakfast and lunch. The hotel was noisy until all staff had gone to bed as the room was on the same small floor as the eating area and just above reception .

In a great position overlooking As Salt heritage city and a short walk down lots of steps to the town centre. Food was amazing and breakfast was to die for. Only problem was the noise at night as room near kitchen and restaurant and staff seemed to gather near room as well. Some nights not quiet till after 2am. It is a beautiful old building and wonderful to be surrounded by such history.

Great spot hard to find!
We loved our stay at Beit Aziz. The staff were really friendly and helpful arranging a car and driver for us to visit more distant sites. The room facilities were adequate but that's not what we were there for. The food, on the other hand, was excellent and plentiful. Others have mentioned the breakfasts and they are indeed a great way to start the day and for us made lunch somewhat unnecessary. Similarly the evening meals are great with locals coming from around town and beyond to eat there. We stayed four nights and had a wonderful time. His is THE place to stay in As Salt.

Good cozy B&B...
Good location. This was a villa, old one for sure, maybe 150-200 years old. The whole building, inside and outside shows the beauty of older Arab/Islamic/Ottoman architecture. Good price (value for the money). Amazing room decorations and attention to details. Nevertheless, the floor of the room requires more cleaning, my daughter walked there with her white socks on, they became black from below. The bathroom needs accessories and in a bad condition (needs overhauling). The breakfast was amazing. Very yummy and a lot of choices (included in room price). Only one major major downfall.. All night from our room we kept hearing staff (and possibly guests in common areas) talking loudly and walking, cell phones ringing, loud music. Our 2 year old daughter took an hour to sleep because of the noises. I called reception at 9:45 pm and asked them to ask staff to lower their voices, etc. and they promised they will take care of things.... Nothing happened. The sounds kept on till 2 am, and started again around 7 am... Bad night. If they take care of the noisiness, the bathroom and the room floor, it will be really a good cozy little hotel (or B&B).
