Positive:Off highway, convenient to grocery store Negative: back door entry fob broken. Parking limited in front, back poorly lighted, felt unsafe. Room carpet stunk! As you enter room. I complained at front desk & in clearly automated text to my phone. No response. No additional cleaning. Mirror over sink has either black mold or filthy. Daily clean? Nope, they took old towels, brought new. Trash wasn’t emptied. Sheets pulled up on bed like my 10 yo would do. Staff at desk need personality. I had stayed at another H Inn week before and completely different in cleaning, stafff presentation and conditions of room. Was going to stay two wks at this one and have canceled. Going elsewhere! Staying is my 2nd home as I work away. Very disappointed!!!

Our room smelled terrible. It was so bad that we booked a room at a different hotel for the rest of our stay. When we told the front desk staff about the smell, we were basically blown off because they were full. I will never stay here again

We had a quick in (6:00 PM) and out next morning (8:00 AM) and everything we encountered was good/excellent. We would stay there again on another trip to the Amesbury/Newburyport area.

This location fit our needs and was proximate to our destinations while in the area. Hampton Inn is a fairly new facility and now affiliated with Hilton. We did not try the free breakfast but did enjoy the coffee and fruit available. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

I was very pleased overall with the hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast here was far better than the "continental breakfast" often served elsewhere. Everything was clean and well maintained. The only minor issue I had was that the pool area was not heated well, so was unable to make use of it. Otherwise, I would have given this hotel 5 stars.

Super fast check in, friendly staff. Great room, very clean and comfortable bed. Great location, very handy to the venue I was attending at Salisbury Beach. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again when in the area.

A good on the go breakfast but wished they a gluten free muffin or bread and milk alternatives.They did have a placard that they had oat milk but actually did not😔.

Great access to Newburyport
Visiting family in Newburyport so needed a nice hotel nearby and was very pleased with this choice. Nice large and clean room, very good breakfast and a 5 minute drive to our family. Will certainly be back on future trips.

My room was at the end of the hall so the sound of the exhaust system, and or ice machine was steady all night. not a big deal but a bit more quiet would be nice. The odd thing was the bed smelled like perfume. I don't know if it was something in the washing system or if maybe someone took a little nap there. It was clean and made nicely so again not a big deal
