Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. Gratefully."

"Likely one of the best hidden gems in Germany. Exceptional staff and location resulted in a restful and rejuvenating stay. The meals were delicious and prepared with local fresh ingredients. The access to the Black Forest is literally steps away; be it hiking or biking. Few suggestions, 1) book a room on the lake side as the road is a bit loud at night and 2) bring a pillow as the ones provided are very German. 10/10 and will return!"
