"We were there the first day of the off season so it was very quiet in the village but necessary shops and a few restaurants were still open. We enjoyed it - very peaceful. Enjoyed the hot tub in our building in the evening. Would recommend to anyone interested in visiting Tahoe."

Visibly unclean in a way that made me uncomfortable touching surfaces. The bare minimum expectation when staying at a hotel is that the room has been properly cleaned before arrival. "We don’t have a whole lot to complain about, so 4 stars is harsh, but Expedia didn’t give a 4.5 star option. It was a clean and quiet hotel where the rooms and public areas were all in good shape. "I would stay here again. On site sauna and gym open til 10pm, gym is small but clean. They also have an on-site restaurant thats extra but breakfast was fresh and quality was excellent. One mile walk into downtown Truckee and 0.5 mile walk to nearest plaza that has a decent Thai and wine restaurant. Short 20 mins drive from Palisades if there's no traffic."
