We booked a standard room which was adequate for our needs, it was clean and comfortable, bathroom had a lovely shower with complimentary products provided. I was impressed by the ‘real’ milk in the mini fridge, makes a big difference to your tea/coffee compared to the long life variety. There is plenty of breakfast options to choose from, they have covered all preferences, no complaints about what we had. Finally, I must mention how friendly and helpful the staff are at Wivenhoe House Hotel, each one we met had a smile, even if we just passed them in the corridor, well done Wivenhoe House, it makes a difference 😊"
