"The hotel was overall very good. Our room had a few issues. There was some sand and dirt on the floor especially in the corners. The Jacuzzi tub worked great although it was getting a bit worn. The bed was solid, but it was a bit firm for me. It is an innerspring with a small pillow top. I am a big guy and it was a bit firm for my liking. I liked the overall appearance. It was charming. However, others might find it "dated." All the furniture was in solid and in above average condition. Nice fridge and microwave in the room. The coffee pot needed to be replaced. We went to Starbucks. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel and room. The stay was enjoyable and the staff were nice."

"I had a nice one-night stay. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, room was nice for an older hotel. My room was clean, and the common areas were nice as well. You could walk out a back door right to the beach. The only thing I didn’t like was the sound the elevator made… other than that, it was fantastic!"

"Martin is a nice guy but very particular on punctuality and timings. He's very helpful as a guide. Overall property was very good, we got a free upgrade to a cabin at the price of a room and the cabin was very comfy and cozy. The beach is amazing with views and chairs. Price wasn't too bad either with walkable access to Mackinaw city"

"This was a very nice motel; we really enjoyed our stay here. The property is in excellent condition and clean, the beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was good, only complaint was the dining area is too small for the number of guests, generally had to wait around for seating."

"I gave this 5 stars because the water and dock themselves makes this place worth it but my toilet bowl was not connected to the ground so it was extremely unstable and the outside of it was covered in pee. The rooms and beds were clean but the sheets were too small and kept pulling off the corners. The sink was clogged and took 35 minutes to drain everytime. In the mornings all we heard were slamming doors and kids running and screaming so the soundproofing is not good. BUT for $90-$100 a night it’s still very good. Like I said the view and fishing was awesome. But it definitely needs some more TLC."
