"Reception staff is very friendly and welcoming.. you get a welcome drink which was a surprise and bonus! Clean room, spacious, nespresso machine! Would have appreciated a small fridge! But overall recommend really close to old town and airport."

"Really exceeded our expectations after a full days travel from Zermatt. Staff were very helpful and the room was brilliant - very well decorated and different. Staff booked us into accompanying restaurant when we arrived and the food was excellent. Taxi organised for transfer to airport. Can’t recommend highly enough."

"The staff was very helpful and friendly upon check in. They held our luggage for us when we arrived before check in time. We were provided a free transit pass to explore the city. The hotel was very modern and well kept. The air conditioning was a bit weak with the full length windows facing the sun most of the day, even with the curtains drawn, it was very warm in the room. Would definitely stay again, just maybe on the cooler season"

"Their restaurant Good Food n Service BUT the Suite has two steps going up to bedroom and two steps for Balcony with no Handrail I have a bad left knee so Suite is not good for disabled persons"

"The hotel and staff were excellent and if you have an event at Jakobshalle the no 14 tram stop is 2 blocks and goes direct. My only issue was the area that lacked restaurants and limited hours"

"The staff were all soooooo friendly, kind and helpful and went beyond and above to make our 34th wedding anniversary celebration wonderful and memorable! Ben and Maram were especially helpful with a wealth of information about sites, things to do, sharing their knowledge and experiences. Ben even made wonderful dinner reservations for us at an excellent Italian Rest. Loved the washer and dryer availsble, location back and forth to Basel was quick busy pick up by hotel and about 4 to 5 stops up or down either way! Would definitely stay again,breakfast included with hotel cost was excellant!!!"
