"I had a wonderful stay at Powter Howe, a real treat. The room and bathroom were immaculately cleaned and well kept and the host is a gem who cooks the best breakfast which includes lovely free range eggs from her own hens. Waking up in the morning to the view over a beautiful garden beyond the lake to Skiddaw was an extra treat as each morning there was a new ever changing Lake District vista. I'll definitely be back! "

"The Hermiston Guest House is a big step-up in the genre of B&B accommodations. Proprietors Phil & Helen go to great lengths to insure that every guest is comfortable and has everything they need. We will definitely stay here again whenever we are in the Lake District. Exceptional!"

"Lovely place, easy access to Keswick and it's own parking. The room's were very clean and comfortable, nice hot showers.
Breakfast was a fresh cooked full English as you expect and was great. The Owner was lovely and very helpful."
