Clean room. Nice shower. It was a nice cozy cottage.
The walls are super thin, and every guest can hear what is going on in any other room. Just simple conversations at speaking level can be heard. The property is nice and it is in a beautiful mountain area. Close proximity to the Nat'l Park and the Nat'l Forest, so if you are outdoorsy like us you can find a lot to do outdoors.
Here is the biggest issue: There is nowhere to eat around here. Don't rely on Google to let you know what is open around there. Since we were there in January, maybe everything was closed for the season, but there is nothing to indicate that. The nearby pizza place looks to be closed up and for sale. The nearby café looks to be closed for an expected long period of time. The grill across the street is open like 3 hours a day, for lunch. So if you want to eat out for breakfast or dinner, you're going to have to drive the 20-30 minutes down to Estes Park. Very inconvenient, and you'd better hope the roads are clear and dry or it might be dangerous too. Again, the cottage was decent (Mount Meeker room), but the surrounding area leaves no conveniences.
