"We booked this place based on it was a new listing and nice modern furnishings. Maybe we were the unlucky ones but we were welcomed with unswept floors, non-working toliet with a surprise from a previous unsuccessful flush, dead insects, and no hot water. We had to run the water for 2-3 minutes to get 'luke warm', not convenient for our small children. "3rd stay and it did not disappoint. A beautiful family run boutique hotel. The staff cannot do enough to make your stay memorable for all the right reasons. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and staff are attentive to ensure all your dietary needs are met. Food is of a high quality and freshly prepared. Hotel offers port transfers for a small fee. There is a local bus that stops right outside the hotel and travels to the beach and Chora into the evening. Looking forward to my next stay! "

"We had booked a double room with sea view. The room was clean, comfortably bed, friendly staff and just as described. Two balcony’s available for use which allowed so much natural light into the room. Bathroom is a little small but still larger than other we had on other islands and adequate for use. "

"My friends and I stayed at Krikitos Village Hotel on our recent visit to Ios. The hotel is located in great proximity to the Port and more importantly the main town, Chora. There is a bus stop right outside which takes you to Chora in 5 minutes (buses come every 15 minutes) otherwise it’s about a 15 minute walk uphill. The walk back from the main town however is 10 minutes downhill which is great! Chora has a great nightlife scene with lots of restaurant choices and bars. The hotel facilities...

"Had the best stay at Irida, was so relaxing, the service was amazing! Our room was gorgeous and we had an amazing view. I recommend you rent a car, to get around the island easy. The hotel was a short walk to the beach. Thank you for everything!"

"We had a wonderful time. This is a lovely small and quiet resort, near to some stunning quiet beaches and great restaurants. A car is essential, but if you don’t want a car, stay in the capital as your own transport is essential to get anywhere on the island."
