"Located just off the highway, this was a great location for our purpose of visiting Door County. Breakfast selection was good. Several restaurants in walking distance (the Mexican is CLOSED on Sundays), we enjoyed the Sports Bar down the road. The room was comfortable and quiet and well appointed. Staff was friendly and we felt safe in the location. "

"The house was old and beautiful and spotless. Breakfast was served at any one of 5 tables. And it was a different creation every morning. And you could choose to eat anytime from 8am to 10am. The rooms are updated with whirlpool tubs and showers. A comfortable wrap around porch with a selection of seating options. The backyard was a garden heaven, seating, an old fashioned gazebo,a small pond with gold fish, and a firepit if you wanted to sit by a fire. And the landscaping is beautiful. A very short walk takes you to the main thoroughfare with shops and restaurants aplenty. It was everything we needed for a perfect anniversary weekend."

"This is an older hotel, so don’t expect the fancy luxuries. It is clean, well maintained and the staff were very friendly. Also it was walkable to many dining options, on the water and a convenient store was located across the street in case you needed anything. "
