"This property was nice. Needs a significant facelift. Property was clean, but out dated. Breakfast buffet was great, as was Italian restaurant. Gym needs complete redo, pools need cosmetic update. Good location and close to downtown and incredible hike. "

"Overall Experience: 3.5/5 We had a pleasant stay overall, with some standout moments, but also a few hiccups. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and friendly staff making it a real highlight of our mornings. The quality of the room service was also good, though we did experience a few issues. The selection was somewhat limited, and the meal arrived without the correct plates and cutlery, which was a bit disappointing for the price. The €9 delivery charge for room service felt a bit excessive, and the €5 fee for extra plates seemed unnecessary. The Kids Club was a hit with the children—they had a great time and it gave us some time to relax. Unfortunately, the bad weather meant the kids spent more time indoors, and they logged into the movie entertainment system. Unbeknownst to me, they were able to easily access and run up a bill of several hundred euros. I tried reaching out via email to address the charges, but it turns out the movie service is managed by an external supplier. Despite my efforts, I’ve had limited success in getting a refund, which has been quite frustrating. We didn’t try the hotel’s other restaurant meals, so I can’t comment on those, Overall, while we enjoyed our stay, the lack of support from the third-party entertainment provider, the extra charges for room service, and the small service issues prevent me from giving a higher rate "

"Our stay at the Atlantic Hotel in Lagos was lovely with sea views and very comfortable. The hospitality and staff were a credit to the hotel. Travelling as a coeliac, there was very good understanding by the breakfast staff and by the chef in the evening. Thank you. "

"Clean however walls marked and scraped in places. Needs some attention. Generally clean and ok. Breakfast was just warm and every morning I was having to wipe down the chair / bench before sitting due to food crumbs and mess on them. Location of hotel is excellent. On day of checking in I reported the safe did not work, and it was not sorted and I mentioned this again on checkout. We had two rooms so we used the other room safe, but it’s still not good enough. "

"We came into Portugal after many hours of travel and our accommodations were the most comfortable nights sleep, the bed and the pillows. We did the breakfast the next morning, and it was exceptional, something for everyone. We also visited the bar in the evening for a drink and had wonderful service, helpful recommendations, and great options."

"I was booked in for the hotel which was close to the beach. But apparently they had two hotels which i booked was a bit far away from the beach so i had to pay extra for the one close to beach which was a superior room. The bed was two single beds attached for a superior room. But the staff told me that he will get it sorted the next day. But they didn’t. So basically as couple we had sleep in different cots. Also the air conditioning was the worse. It was very warm in the room even after bringing the air conditioning to low and the sound from the fan was horrible. I couldn’t get a proper sleep. The breakfast, the view and the soundproofed rooms were fantastic. "
