Hotels in Alexandria - Mediterranean Coast with Complimentary Breakfast

"Needs some attention & money spent on this hotel to live up to expectations. Staff were excellent but the hotel is clearly badly managed. Breakfast was not efficient, partly due to unusually high volume of people. The ‘ manager ‘ strutted around watching the wait staff struggle . 1 poor man trying to cook eggs for way too many people. It was a long wait for my poor husband ! "

"A hotel from a by-gone era. Just like out of an Agatha Christie novel or movie. …. Of course it is since, it opened in 1902 and they’ve kept the traditions and service from that time. Where did you last dine, where the restaurant waiters wore black tie with white gloves and your main course was delivered under a cloche. And where chamber maids were dressed in black and white outfits . The hotel service is excellent, restaurant superb and the rooms spacious and clean. You’ll never forget your stay at Le Metropole. "

"My first time ever to stay at a Four Seasons and I was very disappointed that I didn’t know all pools and beach access was closed due to winter — which was not cold at all and we would have wanted to still enjoy the beach. Breakfast was amazing and beds and pillows and sheets were fantastic!! Staff is formal but nice and will answer all questions. "
