Hotel is just one short block from the Corniche, which runs along the seawall in Alexandria. Great location within few minutes walk from Cecil Hotel, and great cafes in the area. 15 minutes walk distance from new Alexandria library. The manager Mr. Walid provides great info on taxi prices to various tourist locations. Very good value for the money.

Friendly staff, liked the interior design. Was good for somewhere cheap. No issues here and got all the help we needed. Would consider calling again if in Alexandria

The hotel was in an area that I found very interesting. Lots of good places to eat, have coffee or get some good street food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable but if you are 2 people I think it would be a bit small. You should keep in mind that this hotel is 2.5 stars so don't expect 4 or 5 comforts.

Sea Star hotel Alexandria was very reasonable at all fronts “price, condition & area” and was excellent in guest relation, cheerful staff, polite & very cooperative. As a 2 star hotel it excellent, excellent clean room bed and everything.

The location of the hotel is in the heart of Alexandria down town. You can walk to many places. Visiting Bibliotheca Alexandrina is really important in the early morning. It is a good place to sleep. No luxury :)
