YOTEL Glasgow

8/10 Good

"Lovely hotel , nice modern rooms . Adjustable smart beds are a nice touch. Bowling Lane and Bar on top floor 7 . And food is served there also. Only issue I found was a male cleaner just opened our room door at 8 mins to check out , I was not impressed. Told him we weren't ready yet ( albeit few minutes) and he stated it's 11am !! I corrected him and said no ! It's 10.52am !! We were 2 females staying and we could have been in a state of undress ! No way the cleaner should have just walked into the room like that , my sister got a fright! Never have I experienced a member of staff ( certainly not the cleaner) to just walk into a hotel room with paying guests . I have mobility issues and I take my time to get ready and out by check out time ! Never should have happened so please instruct housekeeping on such matters please . Overall I did enjoy my stay ."

10/10 Excellent

"Liked the leisure centre with pool, hot tub and steam room / sauna. Nice rooms. Views of the loch were amazing and breakfast was outstanding:) we even played golf at the Wee Demon the clubs were a bit heavy for a woman especially the driver and 3 wood. But the irons worked well so we mostly used those:) the layout if the hotel rooms was a bit hard but better once I learned how to navigate to my room."

"Location, staff, facilities and cleanliness were 5 star. The only thing that retracts this from being a 5 star experience overall, was having a noisy group of girls next door who kept me up late & then woke me up early. The shower was also a handheld style shower head with minimal power, so not the best for washing long hair. So as comfortable and great as the room was, the walls are thin. However, I would stay again, accompanied by ear plugs."
