"This property is NOT where it shows on the map, it is 10 minutes down the street and not in the village of Comporta. There is only one AC unit, and the bedrooms get very hot. The house was not clean upon arrival and the cleaning people were still there. The microwave didn't work either. I am still waiting for my refund. The management company is difficult to work with and communicate with. Cute pool though. "

"Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel right on the beach. Would absolutely recommend and stay again. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close walk to the beach and to the dock area with plenty of dining options and Casino. Indoor pool is a big plus for when weather isn’t ideal for outdoor pool and beach. My kids enjoyed the kids club child care for the adults to get a break. Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Can’t wait to return and stay here again. "

"I’m confident it will be better over time, but right now they have quite a bit to work on. Many drinking glass were not cleaned and spider web on some chairs. Despite >85% empty (my assumption) we got an apartment where we had to go up some stairs to reach it. No elevator and not possible to change. The reception is not very quick or helpful. "Stayed for two days. Lizeta was an excellent host, very concerned about our comfort and very communicative. The apartment was in a great area, and was tastefully furnished & decorated. "É a minha segunda vez no Monte do Giestal, mas tal como na primeira, uma estadia prolongada de 5 dias. Tudo é bom aqui, desde as amplas e equipadas casas, super confortáveis, ao espaço exterior, sossego, comida entregue a porta de casa pelas sempre atenciosas funcionárias que não deixam que falte nada. Mais, venho com o meu cão, de porte grande, e também ele adora o Monte. Tem bastante espaço para correr livremente e é muito bem recebido. "
