"We stayed at the hotel as a group of friends in a triple connecting room, room 209. As we were getting closer to the trip, I was a little bit concerned about some of the negative reviews recently left on Google reviews; given the price, I didn’t go in to expect a platinum five star hotel, and in all honesty, I set my expectations a lot lower! I needn’t have done this, we had a fantastic stay, Thursday to Sunday. The aesthetics as you approach the hotel had already started to put my mind at ease. The triple room was amazing and surpassed our expectations, three en suites, a huge balcony spanning the width too, we loved it. Clean, with everything you could need. No noise from adjoining rooms at all. We had the premium all inclusive option which meant we had access to the spa, premium drinks options and could dine one night for free at the a la carte restaurant. Would return and highly recommend!"

"Had a fantastic stay at Vidamar Resort Algarve, a really easy and quick check in. Got our room keys, and hired two towels (fee was repaid upon check-out) and the room was spacious, well lit and all appliances worked too! The shower was spacious, and the mirror was well lit. Very comfy bed, and a spare pillow was in the room if needed also. Balcony gave great views onto the golf course next door, with little to no road noise, and even through the massive windows, the sun was well blocked out by the blackout curtains. Breakfast was a very good selection, from full English to meats and cheeses and eggs cooked to your own preference. Didn't try out the buffet evening meal, so can't comment on that. Swimming pool was well attended at all times by life guards, and there were plenty of sun loungers, bean bags and parasols for everyone to have their own space. Staff were always pleasant, and our room was clean. Would come back again, for sure! "

"Absolutely fantastic hotel location is absolutely perfect in middle of eveything. Rooms was beautiful and clean breakfasts was more continental but beautiful and filled you for the day. All staff members so friendly and helpful. Pool freezing cold but again nice to cool of in for a few seconds. Over all fantastic location, food, staff and for it being right on the strip always felt secure with the key cards to use lifts and enter door. Cant not wait to return x"

"I'm a real estate investor and travel with a healthy budget. For our 23rd anniversary, we chose a resort-style hotel in the Algarve—and it ended up being the highlight of our trip. The hotel has a sleek, Bond-movie vibe that photos don’t capture. The lobby is stunning, everything is spotless and well-designed, and the staff were friendly and professional. The pool area is beautiful, with three pools and plenty of comfy loungers. Our room was spacious, fully renovated (since 2023), and incredibly quiet—great for light sleepers like me. Breakfast was outstanding, especially for gluten-free options—lots of variety, including muffins, breads, almond milk, and an amazing banana bread. The location is peaceful yet central. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It’s not an adults-only hotel, but the only kid-related noise came from the pool and added a nice energy. Some reviews criticize it for not being a "true" five-star, but for the value, it’s exceptional. I’d absolutely recommend it."
