"Room was very clean. The balcony and view of the ocean was beautiful. The amenities were a great surprise: in the room coffee, wine glasses and corkscrew, microwave, and refrigerator. The location was close to everything and provided easy access. I definitely look forward to staying here again."
"I loved that we got to have an ocean view! It’s a must if you’re booking here- and the ocean is a short walk out the door. It was so nice to have the slider open to listen to the waves. Surf and Sand is right on the main road, and also a paved walkway between the property and ocean (with vegetation to walk through).
The paved walkway is a great way to walk as well as the pathways in the vegetation along the ocean.
Fort Bragg was a great place to stop for a couple of days bc of the location, and it’s a bigger Seaside town with more stores if you need anything.
This property was clean, everything came as it looked, and the price was great for it."
"The room had multiple items not working including the desk lamp and the door did not close all the way unless you were to slam it. I fell asleep and thought it was locked and woke up to the wind almost blowing it open. Construction going on during the day. And party loud outside at night. It’s cheap and near the ocean but I would not bring children there."
"It’s a fantastic pet-friendly hotel in Fort Bragg. The cleanliness and fresh atmosphere made our stay enjoyable, offering much more value than mainstream options. Although we didn't access the nearby beach this time, it's definitely on our list for our next visit. If you're looking for a great place to stay with your pet, we highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return!"
"My partner and I were very excited to stay here. Before our arrival, we were informed that the occupancy during our visit would be low, so we inquired about a paid upgrade at check-in. Unfortunately, our request was denied, even though we saw many vacant rooms and very few cars in the parking lot. This left us confused about the unavailability of an upgrade. Additionally, the room next to ours was booked by a family who were up very early, and we could hear every footstep. We had hoped for a bit more privacy during our stay.
On a positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed the food in the restaurant, and the live music was a wonderful touch. However, we wished we had been acknowledged as hotel guests during our meal, as other guests were. The server assumed we were not staying at the hotel (despite our reservation) and dropped off the check without asking, which made us feel a bit singled out.
Overall, all of the associates were extremely friendly, and the views were absolutely stunning!"
"This place is good for the price and would stay here again since it was clean and rooms look updated. The outside noise can be a bit annoying in the middle of the night. As for the free breakfast, it was a joke. I’m not expecting anything fancy but when all you have is stale bread with no butter/jelly anything to spread on it and cereal and no milk, you might as well just say free Coffee and OJ and I’d be okay with that."
"You are my new favorite place at the coast. I love the electric kettle. I love that there are no tv’s. Everything in the room works. And the restaurant is fantastic. To find all this in the most beautiful spot on earth is a gift. Thank you very much."
