"My travel agent had originally booked me a hotel inland, but I couldn’t visit Sri Lanka’s coastline without spending a night by the beach. I found this hotel on Hotels.com, and I’m so glad I did! The location ( right on a quiet, scenic stretch of beach) was peaceful and beautiful. Most of the time, I had the beach almost entirely to myself. The room was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The pool was lovely too, but honestly, the beachside area was just too perfect not...

"Massive top floor room with balcony with a seaview. Few mins walk to the beach, restaurants and other services. Friendly staff. Very good hotel in the center of everything in Hikkaduwa. "

"The owner/host and housekeeping staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. They can arrange tuk tuk for the guests and home style food was so delicous. Due to its location, guests will need to have insects repellent spray applied at all time. Overall very nice stay at villa birdlake. "

"3泊しました！ 最初の2泊は冷房がないとは知らずで 暑くて朝まで寝れず ファンも気休めレベル 最終日は部屋が空いたので 1000ルピー追加で払ってACのある部屋へ　 ファンもめっちゃ回るしなんで快適な！ テラス、リビング、キッチン、冷蔵庫は共有 水は初日に小さいのを1本くれました^_^ 水売ってます！ アメニティは0 タオルは交換すると150ルピーかかります！ 家族で経営してるのか みなさんとてもフレンドリーでした^_^"

"Excellent clean property...across the road from beach. We stayed in air con room as an upgrade. Dont stay here on a Friday night if you want an early night as there is a very noisy party...we were pre warned. Pool area is lovely."
