Condo Rentals in Aki District

"The room and bedding were excellent. The supplied amenities were average. The bathroom shared the space with the bedroom area and the toilet door and shower door were clear, with full opacity about midway down. Hard for our teenage daughter to shower in the room with us. You could also wave at everybody while using the toilet. If you have to get up in the middle if the night to use the restroom, you either turn on the bathroom light (I did not) waking everybody up, or you do it in the dark and struggle through. There is a light in the toilet only, but with glass walls it did not matter. The restaurant in the lobby was good for breakfast, but they ran out of coffee and to me that is unacceptable. They had none at a courtesy desk, that offered complimentary coffee, or in the restaurant buffet. They opened at 6:30am by 7:30 the only place you could get coffee was at the 2 machines that were cycling through. The longest lines were at those machines and they ran out. I saw a manager walking around, but nobody was. Addressing the coffee situation. Those are the 2 reasons I marked the hotel down. "

"What a stunning hotel... after staying here we wanted to only stay in Hotel Vistas in the rest of our trip! This is such a well located hotel, with small but incredibly well-designed and decorated spaces. The double bed room had a calming color scheme, rich palette of textures, and convenient items, from a sink/drink prep section to extra ottoman seating and a desk area with chair. The bath/ toilet areas were separate and I was so impressed that everything felt comfortable and workable in a small urban hotel space. Hotel was a nice walk from Hiroshima Peace Museum and all the memorials around, as well as Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki at a local restaurant. The staff at the front desk was incredibly attentive and also helped us get a taxi right at the foot of the hotel."

"The reception is on the 14th floor. Staff are mixed with some very friendly and some indifferent and shouldn’t be working in hospitality. The cleanliness is fine although far too much bleach is used the problem is with state of the bedrooms with numerous (too many to count) stains on carpets and headboards. It’s quite frankly appalling for any hotel but especially one purporting to be of 4 stars. N.B. we’re not blaming the cleaners here but questioning the managements inability to check rooms. The team and hotel lack generosity and penny pinch at every opportunity. You are given a drinks voucher at check - please note this is for a half a small beer or a half measure 75ml of wine in a plastic cup. N.B. The hotel charges for changing of sheets. We also noted that the restaurant is doesn’t accept bookings for dinner but when you turn up all the tables/slots have been reserved. The standard of bathrooms and and bedding was average. Without question the worst hotel we’ve been too in years and certainly the worst in Japan. "
