"Cleanest hotel I have stopped in. Excellent Breakfast and evening food. Found out that they have a Curling Sports Centre where the sport of Curling is done. Currently this team are the world champions. if you are looking for a Hotel in Stranraer, definitely go to the North West Castle Hotel"

"Beautiful if overpriced hotel, room was beautiful staff are always fantastic when we stay. The pool area could be so much better it simplest isn’t up to today’s standards especially at the price. It could be revamped to have beds facing out sea with better hot tub facilities. Staff at the spa/pool however are wonderful "

"lovely hotel, we really enjoyed our stay at the Lamlash Bay hotel, we were in one of the top floor rooms so the slanted roof was a bit of an issue for me but I managed to navigate without too many bumps. We really enjoyed the food on offer in the restaurant and it was nice just to chill out in the bar or take in the views outside, Top quality food, location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. "
