Really looks and feels like a palace,wonderful property. Mosquitoes in room due to crack in door opening to the outside BUT not sealed inspite of saying so; stopping the central ac at midnight recurrently.The pool needs to have a heater, would be unique to other local 5 star hotels and attract year round local crowd and more tourists

The hotel property is vast and spacious with impressive lobby. I had booked 2 executive rooms and had come down to assess the hotel and its rooms for my daughters daughter's wedding. However, i was very disappointed with the bedrooms as the electric and bathroom fittings are out dated. The air conditioning was not working properly and we had to open the window to get some ventilation. The room was overall bland with no charm. I will give 1-2 out of 5 for this hotel.

Good hotel, but we had a different bad experience.

Overall a good hotel and staff is really warm and welcoming, but we chose this hotel so we can have a relaxing few days, but the hotel decided to have a private party right outside our hotel windows. We couldnt even open the windows or curtains all day. After several complains, nothing was done.. the noise was so loud it went on till 2 am in the night. This was brought to the duty managers attention in the morning.. who denied anything like this happened. There was litter all over the lawns and no one bothered cleaning it up for the whole two days. Really all it needed was an acknowledgement or move us to a different room. But the staff is really good, lovely evening show, buffet meal & breakfast are good. Chinese restaurant is really good too.

Leave it to luck for 5 star experience..

It was one of the very few 4-5 star hotels available in Agra during peak season which, with several negative reviews, should have been a sign I made the mistake of ignoring when booking it. This is an old property trying to get by with semi-decent customer service. My family stay experience included the following -Leaking bathtub (took them an hour to fix) -Hair strands in the food at the lunch buffet -Local puppet artist peddling handmade dolls in the guise of a puppet show (shows very obvious displeasure if you dont buy/tip heavily) -Using an upscale car from their Travel Desk for a day trip. Got a very unprofessional driver (bad driving and scam tourist stop at a pseudo-temple) +Very close to Taj Mahal +Staff listens and tries to respond (well trained to very smoothly address concerns about your room when things go wrong) +Food at the Pavilion Cafe During checkout I gave clear feedback on plumbing issues and referenced their reviews here. Later, their VP of Operations sent me a very (boilerplate) email on how “delighted” they are with the feedback. And ofcourse, the staff is exceptionally well trained to say that they’ll take “special care of you next time” due to the bad experience(s) during the current stay. Based on other reviews, doesnt look like my experience was uncommon. Consider yourself lucky if you don't run into issues with your stay. But then one opts for 5 star for consistency and not for promoting luck/chance. Hope this is helpful.

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The food is extremely pricey and rooms are not sound proof and hallways can get noisy. Also when you book through Expedia, they charge extra taxes.

Pleasant stay at Jaypee Palace

Professional and pleasant service. Everyone was very polite and smiley. Although we only stayed at this hotel for sleeping as we were busy visiting places, we really had a pleasant time here and had a very good impression. Breakfast was nice too. We went to Oberoy Hotel for dinner but reception staff's service was way better at Jaypee.

ロビーや客室は、とても重厚で豪華なホテルです。庭もひろく、設備もたくさん揃っています。 部屋も清潔で、掃除も行き届いてます。 ただ、残念ながら、一泊二日の滞在で、3回も部屋の鍵の接触が悪く、解錠できなかったこと。従業員の方が親切に対応しれましたが、3回は多い。
