"Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and cleaned each day. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The bar was modern and staff were pleasant, the food was excellent. We stayed in August and thought as the hotel was busy there would be some nightly entertainment but there wasn't. The pool and it's facilities I couldn't fault. We will definitely return."

"Sensational. Imposing and austere on the outside yet warm, bright and friendly on the inside. Staff from the ladies who prepared rooms on through to reception were polite and went that extra mile to keep a smile on our faces. Food was wholesome and plentiful, and the grounds were very well kept. Highly recommend."

"Very private, but location is remote, always long drive. House needs some little things, towels hooks in the bathroom. House was very clean, but we couldnโt use closets, they were full with wet linens. I understand they didnโt get dry but house has laundry room. I like everything else, big house, great for family"

"Lovely hotel with great amenities and lovely grounds. Room was great and a very generous breakfast served each day. The restaurant was a bit pricey however, food is delicious with good portions. Staff all very helpful. Will stay here again."
