The hotel was fitting to the area, and although there was the language barrier. The staff couldn't be more helpful and welcoming.

Great hotel in a beautiful area
This is a very well run hotel in a lovely area. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms, while not huge, are well equipped and comfortable. My room had a balcony that looked out over meadows towards the valley leading to Kandersteg. The restaurant was excellent, with menus including soup, salad buffet and desserts with each main course. I will definitely return here again, and would thoroughly recommend it

The most stunning views for breakfast
Great stay with excellent service at a comfy guesthouse! Incredible selection of Swiss cheeses for breakfast, plus the most scenic view you’ve had for breakfast.

Great Quiet Hotel
A great place to stay. Very quite and the staff was great. A little off the beaten path but if you want to enjoy the Alps surrounded by a rural farming community this is your place to go.

Great small cozy hotel
Beautiful mountain views, right near the bus 62 stop, if you need to get there from Spiez, clean rooms, quiet place, friendly staff and nice complimentary breakfast. The most awesome puppy in the world!

Spent one night-was hard to find hotel without a gps! Nice room, but couldn't sleep because of mosquitoes. Lovely views.

Beautiful view of the mountains!
The hotel had the most beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is a little out of the way of any major village, but totally worth the gorgeous drive. Internet access is a little spotty and somewhat slow. We could only get one of our devices on the net. Our daughters in their own room had no trouble getting both of their devices on, though. The nice man at the desk spoke pretty good English.

Im Berner Oberland
Kleines Hotel im Berner Oberland. Wir wurden sehr gut behandelt und fühlten uns wie zu Hause (sogar unser Hund). Wir speisten im Restaurant mit dem festen Menü, leckeres Essen. Definitiv zu empfehlen, wenn wir in der Gegend zurückgehen würden, wird definitiv eine erste Wahl sein.

Charmant hôtel avec vue imprenable
Sympathique petit hôtel avec une vue magnifique, les chambres sont simples et très propres, la décoration aurait besoin d’être rafraîchie. Le propriétaire, très serviable, parle français. Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec des produits locaux et des confitures artisanales. La vue depuis la salle du petit déjeuner est tout simplement grandiose.

Wir waren dort nur einen Tag, die Gegend aber ist seit Jahren bekannt und ja das Hotel trägt zur Recht den Namen Bergblick - hat eine super Aussicht. Könnte aber auch "Schwarze Lunge heißen, da das Rauchen auf den Balkon erlaubt ist (was ich ausdrücklich gefragt habe beim Inhaber - der eine "Seele" von Mensch ist... ruhig, freundlich, hilfsbereit... und der sich richtig um uns gemüht hat) und unser Nachbar Kettenraucher war. Somit hatten wir zwar Bergblick aber stundenlang keine Bergluft - einfach widerlich und unzumutbar! Ich empfehle Rauchverbot und einen Raucherpavillion. Das Badezimmer war leider nicht (oder nur sehr oberflächlich, Staubdüne hinter der Heizung und unter dem Waschbecken, Blutfleck! unter der Badematte) geputzt.

Aesch b.Spiez und das Hotel Bergblick liegen sehr gut nach allen Seiten. Man kann sehr viel entdecken und unternehmen. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Tout est parfait de A à Z
Ce chalet est devenu une référence pour mois dès que nous devons aller travailler dans les environs. Un petit bout de paradis, enneigé ou fleuri. La cuisine est délicieuse, le petit déjeuner est un réel bonheur, même les confitures sont maison ! On peut le déguster en admirant un panorama de montagnes. Une étendue de plaine fleurie fait notre contentement, à notre chien aussi !

Chambre à côté de la chaufferie donc un ronronnement permanent. Chauffage mais insuffisant dans la chambre quand les températures extérieures sont froides. Patrons très charmants, petits déjeuners excellents et cadre magnifique et calme.

Un séjour très agréable
Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Tout le monde est très attentionné. Nous avons soupé au restaurant. Le menu filet de perche était était excellent et le prix très atttractif avec un buffet de salade, une soupe asiatique et un dessert.

Idéalement situé pour visiter Interlaken et la Jungfrau , Spiez et Thun UN petit chalet à l'écart du bruit et vue magnifique sur les montagnes Un accueil chaleureux en langue française Malgré les frites chaleurs et bien que l'hôtel ne soit pas climatisé la chambre est restée fraîche et l'on peut dormir fenêtre grande ouverte Seul petit bémol les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées on entend les voisins , mais la clientèle n'est pas une clientèle des fêtards A recommander
