Der Bauzustand ist ok, es ist ei altes Landhsus, das gebaut werden muss ist klar und kein Kritikpunkt. Allerdings die Bewertungen hier stimmen überhaupt nicht. Es war kein guter Service, das Zimmer war nicht mal einen Stern wert und die Größe und Belüftung grauenvoll. Das Essen durften wir im Nachhinein nochmal bezahlen, obwohl wir mit...

"We felt right at home from the moment we met Freda outside her lovely B&B. Our room was clean and cool, bathroom was very nice as well. Big TV and coffee & Tea on our table. The house itself is very charming and historic. The next day we were greeted by a hearty and delicious homemade breakfast by Freda, we even got to meet Gypsy! Her sweet doggie. We loved our short time in Dumfries, I hope we make our way back there again. We will definitely be staying at the Huntigdon once more"

"I can’t fault the Sure Hotel in Lockerbie. A beautiful building, fantastic en suite room, very clean and modern. Or host, the manager Glen couldn’t have been more helpful. Plenty of free secure parking and we ended up taking a lovely stroll into Lockerbie for dinner. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel, great staff who are so helpful. We’ll definitely be going again. "

"Aberdour is a lovely little old gem in an idyllic neighborhood, close to the train station. It’s run by the inimitable Amanda, who is the best host I’ve ever met. The place is older, and a bit frayed- but in the way the Velveteen Rabbit is frayed. "Staff helpful and friendly and room clean and nice bedding etc , unfortunately the mattress was very poor and the springs were uncomfortable all night . I discussed this in the morning and hopefully it will be addressed"
