The Foyat Hotel was absolutely great. The people are very kind and very helpful. They helped me to get taxis's, even using their personal phones, they told the drivers where to go and negotiated a price, they helped me with business that I had to do at the bank and even phoned while I was on my way to hear if all was fine. They did much more than just giving me a lovely hotel room and excellent food. I can highly recommend he Foyat Hote. Thank you!

Nice hotel very near to the airport.
It was a nice stay, pretty quiet except for the first two nights where I think it was a Friday night where there was some partying going on downstairs maybe just outside/next to the hotel until about 11pm. The hotel staff were mainly very friendly and responsive except that maybe they need to improve in their understanding of English. Those serving at the restaurant did not know what "sunny side up" fried eggs meant until I showed them a photo of it. Worse still, on my last night there before heading for the airport, my dinner order took almost 35 minutes to prepare, when there were only 3 guests having dinner at about 8pm and what was served was not what I have ordered! Notwithstanding the above, it was still a pleasant stay - the room, bathroom tub, beddings were clean and very comfortable. Power and internet disruptions were restored pretty quickly except for one Sunday where it took a few hours to reconnect to the wi-fi. Special commendation goes to the following staff who have served me and I believe other guests well too: 1. Meskrem - reception 2. Jerusalem - reception 3. Abebe - maintenance

Minutes from the airport. friendly, on-time shuttle. Smart and eager-to-please staff. Quiet. Terrific omelet with local herbs. No garden. alas.

New clean hotel close enough to everything
Friendly polite staff. Everything can be done at your convincinece in the hotel. It's close to everything and far enough from the noise and the crowd. hospital, liquor store shops restaurants all within 5 minutes walk.

Overnight stay between flights
Close to airport with free shuttle between airport and hotel. about a 10 minute ride. Staff were all very helpful and accommodating. Room was clean, equipped with everything needed including wifi. Room facing the street a little noisy from traffic.
