"The room was clean & conveniently located by the first floor exit door. The continental breakfast was ok. I had trouble figuring out how to adjust the thermostat & the room was warm during the night. Also, there was a charge added to our card that we didn't understand. The manager tried to explain it but said it would be taken off when we checked out. That effected our financial decisions during our stay. Otherwise everything was good."

"We stayed in the Kentucky Room of the Welty house for 3 nights in June 2026. We arrived about 845pm. There was no parking, but when I contacted the help line, they were able to direct me to legal (and free) parking nearby to unload. Parking was not an issue the rest of our stay. The grab and go breakfast was ok. The coffee available is all K cups, so again ok. They did have a wide selection of flavors including teas for the Keurig machine. "The check in process was smooth and easy. The front desk clerk escorted us to our room and gave a brief history of the building. I think we were upgraded as the room was spacious, comfortable and had a large garden tub. The bed is a bit high but no real issues. We did not use the pub but it looks really cool and we may stay here in the future."

Lots of booming footsteps at 6:30-7:00 AM; I'm not sure if it was housekeeping or boisterous guests (each day we stayed there were busses parked in the parking lot, so this is obviously a popular choice for large groups of kids). Also no staff when we checked out. "The overall experience was amazing. The view while playing a round of golf was breathtaking, its close to Gettysburg (real reason for stay, and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of sightseeing as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and were right on any issue we had or found. I will definitely want to stay again!"
