"1) they are NOT of any HI international standard. The Staff had check in, spoke no English and over charged us! There is no shared kitchen or even a microwave to warm up a meal. We are paying to sleep, and if you cannot sleep, then what is the point of paying being at a place???There were a rowdy bunch of 100 + boys! The staff, had no curfew to shut them up. there were so noisy and everyone screamed and shouted to each other and ran ruckus in the corridors of the buildings - from 7pm till 3pm.....

"I don't think hotels.com distinguishes between rooms with or without a balcony. I reserved a Standard Room and fortunately, I was assigned one of these rooms. "Lovely hotel at the foot of the bahai garden in Haifa. Hotel has Arabic charm. Nice restaurants nearby. It is far from the beach but there are buses. Be aware that all the Internet reviews say you can rent lounges on the beach, like in Tel Aviv, but you can't. I bought a cheap chair (70 shekels) and left it on the beach when I was done. I wish the hotel had warned me when I asked about the beaches, or better yet, had loaner chairs, but that's not really how Israeli hotels work. Breakfast buffet was good. I would stay there again."
