"We had an extremely early flight at the airport across the street from the hotel so we stayed one night only. The room was clean and comfortable and the front desk staff were friendly and explained the hotel amenities (e.g., breakfast, coffee) very well. It is not a luxury hotel but it is a nice place to stay if you are flying one of the first flights out in the AM."

"The Bay Motel was a unique surprise. My wife and I were looking for something simple and affordable to simply sleep while we were visiting our daughter...what a Gem. The staff was friendly and warm, the room was spacious, and the bed was outstanding. When we travel as a we seldom eat in the hotel restaurant, the coupons we received at check-in convinced us to give it a try...we were blown away by the speed, attentiveness of our server,, and the fresh meal we received. Affordable. Welcoming....

"The staff was amazing! There were a couple room issues we brought to the staff's attention, which they handled promptly. The bed was comfy. Room was great. The only downfall of the room was how loud the AC unit is when it kicks on...unfortunately I'm a light sleeper and woke up almost everytime it turned on. Overall, I would recommend."

To make matters worse, the credit card machine was malfunctioning, and it was already 11 pm. I needed to find an ATM, but the nearest one was miles away, that actually worked. "This place is in desperate need of a renovation. Walls in hallways need to be cleaned and repainted. The rooms need to be completely overhauled. Very disappointed in the quality versus the price paid."

"Lovely, clean room with jacuzzi tub and shower and comfy bed with a surplus of pillows. Open, well-lit dining room with a solid menu and excellent service. The morning omelet and coffee were both excellent. The property is RIGHT next to the Saturday farmers' market, which was a blast. Live music later in the morning. Excellent bookstore (The Lion's Mouth) just a short walk away. The river walk is great – don't mess with the goslings, or their parents will grab you and your kids and give you PTSD...

"I understand that the date we showed up the sewer lines were being replaced and the bridge was closed for maintenance. Not the hotels fault. The staff was nice, the room was cleaned but walking down the stairs for breakfast, the smell of urine was strong.
