The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. "This is an older hotel so had its share of creaky floorboards etc. We found it to be excellent value - room was fine, breakfast buffet really good. In centre of town so handy for walks along the front etc. Would definitely choose it again."

"I received a warm welcome from this family run business on arrival, parking was ample and just outside the entrance to this lovely, rural hotel. I was travelling for work purposes, so only stayed at Cadwgan for one night. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, the furniture was bright and modern, the ensuite bathroom equally clean and the bed large and very comfortable. A very peaceful location with views of the sea and cattle in the field opposite. I had a great night's sleep and enjoyed a light breakfast the next morning. As a solo female traveller, I would highly recommend a stay here, I felt safe and well looked after. Thank you."
