"Carpets were very clean. Some of the surfaces had been missed though and the coffee/tea in the room needed re-stocking. Staff were delightful. Breakfast options were very good and plentiful. "

"Unfortunately we had some issues in the restaurant. There was an error and some items were missed from our order. It was eventually resolved but staff were unhelpful and didn’t even offer an apology. The lady on reception was exceptional though. She went out of her way helping us find our way to an event and arranging a late check out so my daughter could swim."

"The road house needs a good make over and a lot of money spent on it, couldn’t turn on cold water tap in the bathroom, the kettle was too big to go under the tap in the sink so filled kettle using a mug, lots of linen bags lying around the stairs area. One plus the bed was comfortable and was clean, would we stay again no"

"Our double room was spotless, clean and of suitable size for a short stay but would be cosy for a longer stay. Check-in was easy, I did that online via their email link so super easy, parking is via a shared hotel/public car park so spaces are not always available. Breakfast was great, plenty to choose from. Only negative would be the water pressure/temperature on the 3rd floor and it seemed to struggle to deliver a very simple shower."
