"The room was clean and comfortable but the shower is fed off the bath taps so the pressure and shower wher really poor. Shower upgrade needed really badly."

"Great location at the harbour. We walked back to the Inn after seeing Dunnotar castle, and had a drink sitting outside. Staff let us store our luggage in advance so we could go out walking, and got us a table for dinner (very popular place). Quieted down later so no problems sleeping. Nice breakfast and we walked around the harbour and town after breakfast. "

"Very clean and comfortable room although describing it as luxury is maybe a step too far! Breakfast and indeed all the food was excellent and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. It is a quiet location about a mile from the village so you probably need to drive. Would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed here for 2 nights in the boat house. The room itself was beautifully decorated and the food in the restaurant was fabulous! We loved being able to take a walk after dinner on the river each night."

"Booked this for one of my employees who was working in the area. When he arrived he was shown to a room in the roofspace that had to duck all the time due to the amount the roof came into the room. Booked a room with a private bathroom but he was shown a bathroom along a public corridor, not exactly private! Then the bar was noisy until about 0130 when he was trying to sleep as he was up early in the morning. Needless to say he wasn't very happy!"
