Top A Campo Abierto Hotel Reviews

Aparthotel ILUNION Sancti Petri

8/10 Good

"We had an issue with water pressure in our room at arrival, but was taken care of the day. So quick response and efficiency."

Hotel Vincci Resort Costa Golf

8/10 Good

"Hotel is very good, swimming pool area is excellent. All the staff we encounters were polite and professional. The breakfast food was the best, although some apple juice would have been nice. Also I was unable to have a Latte or a cappuccino. But everything else in the selection was great. The rooms are good, maybe in need of some updates. It is disappointing that there are no USB charging points in the rooms. I would expect these to be available in hotels these days. The most difficult issue is parking, there is very little, we had to park quite a way from the hotel on the street and walk back."

Hipotels Hotel Flamenco Conil

10/10 Excellent

"Perfect alternative to the more noisy environment of La Costa del Sol. A bit on the older side but perfectly conserved hotel with 2 outside pools and an indoor one with a jacuzzi within the inside area. 20 second away from the beach that is accessed via its own walkway. Incredible views from the restaurant and pool area and spectacular sunsets. Our 3rd time on site and will most probably return to enjoy the relaxing experience."

Hotel Riu Chiclana - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"First thing to note is there are no lifts in the low rise blocks to the bedrooms. Ours was the top floor so 4 short flights of stairs but not great if you have a lot of luggage. Very nice spacious well appointed rooms and good size balcony. The only negative comment was about the old shower head, and not great water pressure but it did not change our overall opinion for our short stay but these small details could be better. This is an all inclusive resort. The choice and quality of the food for all meals was excellent but the alcoholic drinks did not seem to contain that much alcohol. For mid October we did not expect this very large hotel to be fully booked but it was throughout our stay. This was our first time at a RIU hotel and clearly it has a popular following. But note it can get a bit busy and loud around pools and activities, but great for young families with kids. There are 75 wooden steps down from the dunes behind the hotel to access the beach although the sandy La Barrosa beach is truly stunning, and the sea is shallow for a good way out. Car parking (non EV) is in two car parks opposite the hotel across the road and the hotel charges €5 per day. Overall we had a nice time at this hotel and would recommend it for families with young children as there are many excellent facilities available for them especially. The highlight of the week is Friday as they have the RIU party that night and it was a pity we were not able to stay longer to see it."

TAIGA Conil

10/10 Excellent

"Overall amazing experience. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful particularly Dani. He made us feel very welcome. Restaurant serves amazing food at reasonable prices. There is a small shop for amenities. Churreria was a lovely surprise for the breakfast. Furniture inside and outside the accommodation needs regular cleaning. Beds, pillows and linen was very clean and comfortable. Communal bath rooms were clean but no hand soup. There was a srench in the toilet area probably due to drains issue. Highly recommend the experience"
