"We enjoyed our cabin stay. There is a kitchenette, refrigerator, shower, heat, A/C in the cabin. (The description online didn't capture all the amenities.) Having some tea and hot cocoa provided along with firewood was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. This was a glamping experience - good for a couple. No space for more than 2 people. We would recommend and return!"

"Location can't be beat, super walkable. Floors squeak, train is very nearby, freeway is very nearby, but the location (!). I had to turn off the floor aircon to sleep. Street parking is free overnight 6pm-8am and plentiful. Breakfast/resto does not open until 8am (!) but there are two excellent coffee shops nearby that open at 6am (Ground) and 6:30 (Freshies) and serve breakfast. Great water pressure, comfy bed. Would return."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Lightwell. The spa is amazing, the staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean. We also loved that there is a lounge, a rooftop bar, and the hotel is conveniently located. Just be aware that the rooms are smaller than usual and there are no refrigerators in the rooms. But this is our new favorite place to stay in Hood River!"

"Great property with stellar views next to an iconic hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and parking was easy. No elevator so keep that in mind! Easy access to neighboring hotels and downtown. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. I felt the rate was reasonable. We usually stay on the other side of Hood River so this was a fun change. We’ll be back! "
