"The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff were great. However, I picked this place over others due to the advertised Columbia River views and photos. We were willing to pay extra for that. We got a view of a couple of trees, partial small river and walking bridge and the freeway. Nice place but not as advertised."

"We arrived before check-in time, but the desk staff was really helpful - gave us a call when the room was ready, so we were able to go on a bike ride around Hood River. I always appreciate older, classic properties, and the Columbia Gorge Hotel and Spa is a gem. Great, comfortable room, great food at Valentino's, and grounds that make you want to explore. The price was great, and we'll stay again the next time we're in town."

"The property was very well appointed, staff was very helpful and the room was immaculate. The best part of this property was our river view from the Balcony. And the worst part is I only stayed 1 day! I had never imagined that a Best Western Hotel could have an upscale hotel but I was wrong!! Great Job!"
