"Norbu the hotel GM was excellent. He personally made sure that the stay was comfortable and any of our needs were addressed. In fact, while embarrassing to state in a review, we ran out of cash and he lent us Rs. 5000/= going out of the way. That was a very trusting gesture on his part. Norbu also helped us get the visitor permit from the local DM’s office which helped us move forward with our trip. "Spectacular views - we woke up to a snow covered view of the valley and mountains. We were in a room facing the main road and the valley. Good location, right off the Pahalgam main road and a minute's walk from the market. The pony rides start right next to the hotel. Very hospitable staff and our stay included breakfast and dinner.
