"Iconic national park hotel in a stunning setting. It's very beautiful and well maintained. Expect smaller rooms, given the age of the hotel, but the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The mattress and towels could be better (compared to a similar hotel like the Mission Inn.) Light sleepers might not like the loud air conditioning, which really can't be controlled in-room. Great pool area, pretty but so-so fitness room. Pro tip on the nice sauna: start the timer before your work-out...

"The location was prime! Lots of restaurants, bars and breweries within walking distance and a short drive to the mountain. We enjoyed our updated room at the Sierra House. It seems some things are still under construction as the building was very new but that didn't bother us a bit. The steam and sauna are slightly outdated but again that doesn't matter to us. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"The property is convenient to Eagle Lodge, Chair 15. We have stayed in other units at this property. However, unlike past experiences, this unit charges extra for daily housekeeping service and a separate fee for trash removal. The check-out time is 10:00am. We requested a later check-out 2 days prior to departure but the request was denied. The toiletries were supplied in small paper squeezable packets. There are better options in this price range."
