"The room was clean, but nothing special for the price per night. I really expect a bit more for $400+/night.
That said, the staff were friendly, the breakfast buffet with omelet bar was nice and good quality food (not included in price of hotel), walkable to the Old Port."

"I had a really great stay at the Canopy by Hilton Portland Waterfront in Portland and would absolutely stay here again. The hotel felt high-end, welcoming, and relaxing from the moment I arrived. I loved the scent throughout the hotel, the beautiful design, and how cozy the common spaces were.

"We booked this hotel because it was advertised as a 4-star hotel, but it was nowhere close to that rating. At best, it felt like a 3-star property. The facility itself is large with many rooms, but the maintenance and service were below average.
The pillows in our room smelled bad, and when we informed the front desk, they said someone would come replace them, but that never happened. We requested to have the room freshened up, but when we returned later in the evening, nothing had been done....
