"The breakfast was very good but the on site restaurant for dinner was dreadful and wouldn’t go there again. The hotel itself and the staff were very friendly but didn’t expect a plastic bracelet round my wrist for the length of our stay! Would have preferred glasses in our room rather than very cheap plastic ones and would have liked the teas coffees and bottled water to be replaced each day - not worth the money we paid for a room of that standard"

"The staff was absolutely wonderful with the exception of the General Manager who was a bit crazy. I have never written that in a review, but I don’t know how else to describe her. Otherwise the hotel was fine. Not near the downtown at all, so that was a challenge, and the breakfast was all cold, but besides that, the hotel had AC (a plus) and was clean. "Lovely stay, clean room, enjoyed access to spa morning and evening. Room is minimal but nicely designed, some of the lighting buttons were confusing and one button was slightly faulty. Room would be improved with some coat hooks within the lobby area (stayed in Ando room with spacious lobby), or a sideboard or shelf, somewhere to put things as you come in. There wasn't a cushion to sit on by the balcony as in pictures. A kettle would also be useful."
