"A roof fridge would have been nice, July gets hot and cold refreshments are a must. Air-conditioning advertised, though not working / not efficient. Didn't ruin our stay or put us off booking again. Breakfast is worth paying the extra 13 euros. Tidy rooms. Clean. Good beds - excellent city break."

"Good value for money. Convenient for city centre. Walking distance"

"Charmant petit hôtel historique en plein cœur de la vieille ville de Riga, situé sur une rue piétonne. Personnel avenant et sympathique. Chambre spacieuse et propre. Terrasse centrale partiellement couverte et bien aménagée est un véritable oasis. Le restaurant italien adjacent à l’hôtel est vraiment excellent et très pratique. En somme, un hôtel offrant un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Très heureux de mon séjour de 3 nuits."

"The location was really good. It was a short walk to the Old Town and it was close to both the train station and the bus station. The only thing I didn’t like was the hotel had wooden floors that creaked when you walked around."

"Lovely apartment in Old Riga town, close to everything! The staff were so helpful. Room clean and well presented. You get used to the spiral staircase! (We were on the 3rd floor.) I'd definitely recomment the apartment. Be careful with parking though. The nearest car park looks like a bomb site and costs 35 euro for 24 hours! "

"Spent three nights there - a good value hotel with good staff. The breakfasts are good, with a wide variety of food, to suit different tastes. This was particularly commendable given that it is in included in the price, and was better than any other hotel that we stayed in on our holiday in the Baltic States, all of which we paid extra for. The hotel appears to have been converted from a communist area apartment block, but it works fine as a hotel. It is, however, starting to get a bit tired,...

Overall, a perfect experienced — I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, and well-managed place to stay."
