"I wasn’t expecting much after reading negative reviews about the Pinestone, but I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. While indeed dated and in need of remodeling, our suite was large and very comfortable. The two couches desperately needed replacement, but the rest of the furniture was fine, and the grounds were lovely. This resort needs some tlc to return to its former glory, and will be fantastic if that ever happens. "

"What a pleasant surprise this was! It has everything to expect in a typical roadside motel but the bathroom has a nice large soaker tub. Everything very clean, the AC works and the restaurant was charming with excellent homemade dishes. There is a lazy river floating by the trimmed backyard grounds. "

"Westwind is located in beautiful natural environment in the woods and by the water. Sport equipments is available such as boats, bicycles and the modest version of the golf range. Gardens are beautifully arranged and the native canadian plants such as trillium were blooming. Looking forward to enjoy this quite place again."

"Ontario countryside and lakefront views. Peaceful and rejuvenating. The staff is immaculate, imaginative, and thoughtful. Satellite/cable for those who can’t resists a movie or news update. Fireplaces, hot tubs, balconies, 5-star chef cuisine and posh outdoor dining, all in a rustic setting. "

"It was unbearably hot in the room. Screen on sliding door was broken so we couldn't leave the door open. Only one of three windows had a screen. Thermostat was set to off but one of the electric heaters was blasting heat. It was a very uncomfortably hot night with only one window open. Air conditioner was not installed. Room and washroom were not very clean. Windows and areas around windows and sliding door were filthy. Looked like they had not been cleaned yet from the winter. The bed was...
