"Stayed here for 5 nights on a hiking trip and all I can say is - if you’re thinking about booking this hotel do it!! You won’t be disappointed! The room was comfortable, the food at the restaurant was excellent, and the staff were lovely. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and I would definitely stay here again on a return trip. "

"Great location, easy walking to everywhere, friendly staff. Limited parking, especially due to construction for the 2026 Winter Olympics. A bit noisy from the nearby bar and restaurants but the windows are double thick. "

"Upon arrival, we were able to pay 15 EU to park right behind the hotel in downtown Cortina. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aquila - our room had a wrap around balcony with beautiful views of the city and mountains, and the hotel's location is walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean and spacious and the curtains blocked out the morning sun. Amazing stay!"

"Very cozy, almost bed and breakfast vibes. The views were amazing, and the staff were all very accommodating. Our room wasn’t made up in time when we were checking in so they gave us a free drink and quickly made it up for us. It is about 15 min from downtown cortina, a bit of a windy road getting up and down but quite beautiful. Overall a great two night stay"

"Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The easy check-in, the room was very nice and comfortable, breakfast (with an amazing view) was plentiful and delicious. We came into Lienz on the train and it was an easy walk to the hotel from the station. The hotel is conveniently located a few hundred feet from one end of the shopping district, which leads to the town square. Having the service point was helpful - I was able to get a few needed supplies and if we needed to wash clothes (which we did...

"Full service hotel in a perfect location woth convenient access to skiing and walking distance to the town of Cortina. City Bus picks up and drops off in front of the hotel.
