"We enjoyed the trip thoroughly, the only setback was that there was no wifi at the hotel. Otherwise we had excellent food, and the view of Mt Kenya from the room was awesome. The hotel is aptly named."

"This is an excellent and reasonably priced place to visit, very peaceful and quiet. The landscape is serene which I could view from my own private deck with fresh coffee throughout the day. Paul the manager was extremely helpful in making arrangements for a game drive and a couple of great cultural experiences with the local tribe, along with nightly camp fire and music from a Kenyan Nyatiti I believe. "I messaged the property to inform them that I was going to arrive very late on Christmas Eve . That is when I got a shock of my life when they told me that they did not have any booking for me. I had booked and paid for a room for 2 nights many months ago !

"The hotel was in good condition. But the room i was given to start with the windows couldnt close so they relocated me to another room that was smaller. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was served on a plate."
