"The hotel was everything we had hoped for. Stunning beach views and helpful staff.we reserved a sea view room and it was well worth it! Walkable to souvenir stores and if you would like a night out of the hotel it is safe. "

"Fantastic stay in this beautiful boutique hotel in Matemwe!
Plus: Amazing ocean view room, great food, amazing staff (everyone is so kind and so nice!), fantastic diving team (be aware that Zanzibar doesn't have big sealife, but the small ones and the sites are beautiful), very relaxing stay, great service overall
Cons: the only cons (but I knew that already and this was part of the reasons why I chose this hotel!) is that the hotel is very isolated so if you are looking for a lot to do, this...

"We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing.
The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable.
If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. "
