"The hotel was very quiet and clean. Lovely pool Not that much around in terms of shops and things to see. We stayed due to Legoland but had an extra day and not much to see. The restaurants close by were good and nice atmosphere on the water. Pity some old developments opposite that really make the place look a little gloomy otherwise would be great view. "We were in Room 109 and unfortunately for the whole day on 1 April 2024, we were met with construction work next door. It was not only the buzzing and hacking that was annoying that forced us out of the room by 11am, but also the smell of paint that stuck throughout till 5pm when we came back. We had to resort to switching on the aircon all the way while we went out for dinner. The situation slightly improved but it still spoilt our mood.
