"We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Had dinner there every night. It was such a Good stay. Best in Kampala. Clean, safe, brilliant food, friendly staff. Location I don’t know How Good it is. But it all depends where you’re going. Good to avoid traffic in downtown Kampala. If chef Onyango Godfrey is on - Get the Tikka Masala. One of the best I’ve ever had. And I love indian food. "

"The EH is a fantastic value. Room was excellent- very clean, air cond was great, hot shower. The facilities - restaurant, gym, store in premises at Lee great. The best part, this hotel is smack in the middle of everything without the busy aspect found across most places in Kampala. If I go to Kampala again, definitely will stay there."

"I have stayed at Forest Cottages many times within the past ten. It never disappoints and is an oasis to within the hustle and bustle of the city. "

"While the location is chaotic and busy the actual hotel was surprisingly good. Very nice and clean rooms to really affordable prices, The food at the hotel restaurant was really good and the staff was amazing. The only issue is to get a taxi driver to want to drive downtown where the hotel is due to the busy traffic around the area. But highly recommend this hotel as it is really good value for the money."

"The staff at the Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala are both professional, kind, and helpful, whether work for housekeeping, in the dining room, reception, or management. I was able to get some R & R after roughing it in the interior, at a very reasonable price, with good food, a comfortable room, space to read and write, and special touches when I asked, like a water kettle for instant coffee in the room."

"For starters, the staff here are excellent. And the hotel is kept quite clean. There are other inconsistencies, however. If you need wifi in your room, it is hit and miss for no apparent reason. For emergencies, there is always wifi in the reception area. I was there for 3 nights. I had hot water for two mornings but not the third. You have to run the shower for some time. The menu for the restaurant is limited and much of what is on the menu is not available. Having said that, I did not...
