"This property was our favorite by far! It was an absolutely beautiful setting and the family that owns it were very gracious and welcoming. There were even freshly baked cakes for us to enjoy. The room was perfect with hidden surprises like some mice sleeping in a cigar box in the bedside table. The kitchen was perfect for our needs. We loved the hot tub and the stroll around the property. "Self check-in instructions were communicated ahead of time and the process was smooth and convenient. The room was clean, bright and airy. The mini fridge in the room was a nice convenience and the WiFi worked well. The view from our room was fabulous! "Loved the location of the cottages. So nice to sit on the couch and see a 180 view of the serene grounds. If there is more than 2 people, I would recommend getting 2 cabins. The bathroom is so petite and the upstairs small with steep stairs, I could not imagine more than 2 people in these cabins. That said though, they are really a fun place to stay. "

"Lovely and cozy stay. The cabin has everything you need to relax. Enjoyed walking around and seeing the horses and property. There was also a kitty whom was just the sweetest!! A great place to relax and unwind. Please note there are no TV’s in the cabin(GOOD!) and the horses don’t directly come to your door but only 20ft behind an electric fence. If I had but a minor criticism it’s check-in. I felt silly that I walked up to Mr.Iceland’s house but he was out…maybe have a small sign to advise to...

"I did not receive the email with check in instructions that Expedia said would come, but there was a sign on the door directing us to the hotel next door for questions and the woman at the front desk was one of the most pleasant people I have ever encountered and she straightened things out immediately. "We absolutely LOVED this cottage. Definitely our favorite of all the places we stayed in Iceland. The house was cosy and clean. The location was beautiful and we even came home one day to sheep in the front yard :). Can't recommend it enough."

"The cottages are lovely and well taken care of. They are a little piece of heaven. I only wish we had booked for longer. The hot tub was an amazing perk that we used everyday. The kitchen was well equipped and the decor was lovely. This was certainly the highlight of our trip."

"Sleeping in a bubble was a great experience! The kids loved it and we each took turns using the bubble rooms. There were two available for us, so it was really nice. Also saw the northern lights from their property, awesome experience."

"Quaint little guesthouse! The stairs are very narrow so moving luggage is a bit difficult but the location is great. We stayed 2 nights and the radiator in the bedroom wasn’t working but the property managers left a couple of beers for us knowing that they are still renovating and it was warm enough with just the one radiator.
