"The only elevator was out of order. We had to haul our luggage up 3 flights of stairs.
The citronella lemongrass soap was pungent and unpleasant. Did not want to smell like a bug repellent candle at the funeral I had come to town for. The conditioner made my hair feel like a rat's nest.

"I don't like writing reviews that aren't truly delightful, but sometimes reality is not as rosy as information online.
We chose Stone Gate Inn because it wasn't a national chain and it had an 8.4 review average. We prefer to support small businesses.

"I have stayed at this property several times. The rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. The staff are friendly and super helpful. They gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and local activities/events that were happening during our stay, The breakfast is great - a full hot breakfast with many options to choose from. The location is ideal - close to the highway and plenty of shopping nearby."

"Judi breakfast lady on Saturday and Sunday stood out.
Despite being busy she gladly washed my Yetti cup for me with a smile every morning of our stay. Great service. Judi never stops where do you find such great staff."
