"Hotelli oli vilkkaalla alueella ja kyytejä sai helposti. Hotelli on rakennuksen toisessa kerroksessa hissin päässä. Huone tilava, sänky hyvä, ilmastointi ja toimiva pesuhuone/ Wc. Lämmintä vettä tuli suihkusta, jääkaappi huoneessa. Hiljainen nukkua. Aamiainen hyvä. Ystävällinen palvelu vastaanotossa ja keittiössä, vaikka tulkin välityksellä ( aamiainen). Parasta katolla oleva uima-allas, jossa puhdas vesi ja hieno näköala. Auki 24/7, aamu- uinnilla ei ketään muita. Paras paikka pitkään aikaan!"

"The name Sheratton (with double t) confused me with well known quality hotel owned by Marriott. There is no quality in this hotel. I didn't feel like even taking a shower. The only bright spot was the breakfast. I ordered Spanish omelette, my wife had sunny side up egg, but instant coffee because their coffee machine was broken. I got the expression from the description that it is 3-star hotel. It shouldn't have more than 1 star."

"I love the atmosphere of the NBT, the staff are wonderful and can’t do enough for you, but the rooms are very basic. The air conditioning works and was good. The shower was terrible. Little more than a trickle. The whole room needs a refurb. My biggest gripe, was with the roof of the ‘patio’, it was a sloping roof at about 5’5 feet at the entrance. I’m 6’1 and hit my head at least 3 times. Go to the NBT for the beach bar, atmosphere and staff. I wouldn’t recommend the rooms."

"The general conditions are good, rooms are nice and clean and airconditioners works well. Pool is Nice and clean. Food was good although no meat ( bacon and sausages) for breakfast in last 3 days of visit. Management does not adjust to needs - we were keen on Tusker Lite and although the resort is between Malindi and Watamu, they could never procure this. Chef’s cooking is good. I had a very nice time in this hotel, the rooms are spacious and the furniture is great, of course in African style but with an extra touch! The big bed is very confortable and everything is extremely clean and tidy. This hotel offers very good meals for an affordable price.
