"Clean room, attentive staff.
small insect problem but the manager took care of it immediately and it was resolved for the rest of our stay. Staff English limited but Google Translate made things smooth 😁.
If you have any situation or problem, the staff is very attentive, but if you don’t say anything : no solution 😜.

"Wonderful two week stay at the Drake Inn while volunteering on the island. It is right across the street from a beautiful, quiet, and pristine section of the beach and steps away from the entrance to the trail to the Wall of Tears, and close to a variety of places to eat, shop, and hang (Pink Iguana bar!). "Really good staff! Also, English is spoken. Room was small, but clean. Daily cleaning. I do suggest you pack a beach towel and a washcloth. No tv (fine by me. WiFi stays strong for the most part. Ac worked great!!"

"Close to restaurants and ferry. However our “beach view” was completely obstructed and the bathrooms had mold all over the ceilings. This was the only Hostal we stayed in that did not have water for us to refill our bottles. They did have a store to buy a few items. My daughter forgot her earphones and they flagged us down to let us know which was really nice. The property needs some serious work. I paid more for the ocean views from the patio but wasn’t able to see it at all. "
